The Spa Gardens Forum Group generally meet at either the Sun Parlour Cafe or Ripon Leisure Centre every 6 weeks. The forum comprises the representatives from various community groups who meet to discuss the future management and development of the Spa Gardens and Ripon Spa Park.

The community groups represented include Ripon Civic Society, Ripon Spa Bowls Club, Rowels Rotary Club, Girl Guides and Ripon and District Disability Action Group (RADDAG).

The continued success in the Green Flag award scheme is due to the close working relationship between the Forum and Harrogate Borough Council.

Spa Gardens is a beautiful park set in the heart of Ripon. As well as proudly flying the Green Flag, the Gardens also boast Ripon's War Memorial, which has taken the Best War Memorial in the "town class" several times in the Yorkshire In Bloom awards and a splendid Victorian bandstand where band concerts take place on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer. For birdwatchers, carefully sited nesting boxes have encouraged many varieties to make a home in the Gardens alongside outdoor games and the Sun Parlour Café serving home cooked food.
